I suggest we keep this thread active and hopefully get it stickied at some point. It is much more helpful than the mass jumble of threads.

Good idea, as long as this is kept 100% up to date then the devs can come here instead of digging through all of the individual threads. However for more detail on the ideas you could provide links to the original thread for that idea.

There needs to be an Arena game type. No classes, no editing the map, no vehicles. This would be very much appreciated by the people who would like to either try the game competitively, or are trying to ease themselves in by learning combat first.
And as for the forum:
More BB code for signatures, simple ones such as [center] don't work.
If possible, disable the http://i.imgur.com/CgbgQ.png page.
The logout button should probably be smaller and right above the control panel, I accidentally logged out a couple times, thinking it wouldn't be next to the messages button.

Also, having a label for the mod group would be good, since new people might not understand that green = mod.

How about the possibility of having researches?
Research better weapon, upgrades, etc.
First, start with wood, etc, then you can gather more kinds of resources, and then oil, electricity, etc, and futuristic resources like plasma.
Also unique resources on different types of planets, making traveling worth while.
Will buy Founder soon :D

ok i have a heap of things id like to see change to make this better. im playing as i go so the list may be long

1: Ragdoll only when needed. all the time is a pain to move about in.
2: ability to REMOVE items easier. as of yet i cant figure out how to do so.
3: an easier to see and visualise block placement system
4: cleaner tunneling and digging. very jagged at the moment
5: Smoother camera movements
6: much less bounce
7: less sliding when jumping (try building up by jumping and placing blocks, youl know what i mean)
8: more control while falling
9: more movement control, less glide
10: way less lighting bloom thinger
11: more low-graphic quality friendly texturing


Thats about it for now. il definately be back though, once these are addressed. the idea behind this is awesome, just the execution needs tweaking.

More ideas

Maybe a ladder, so if you DO fall off massive pillars, you can get back up.

ladders that the enemys with limbs can climb too.


WAY friendlier lower graphic settings. everything got fuzzy, white and hideous after about 30meters
